Take a look at the new and improved “banana split!” A sweet treat doesn’t always need to mean unnecessary calories that won’t offer any nourishment to our bodies. Today, we want to introduce you to one of our new snacks that we are loving! With the nutrients of the superfood toppings and sweetness of bananas, you’re sure to fall for this as well.
Here is what you will be needing:
- Peanut butter
- Chia seeds
- Rolled oats
Split the bananas down the middle long ways. Then, add all natural peanut butter. Now for all the fun toppings!
We sprinkled ours with raisins, chia seeds, crushed almonds and rolled oats. Finally, we topped it with honey! You can either serve immediately or save it for later in the fridge.
